Care Bearers Ministry

From the start, we wanted Grace Community Church to be a church that was responsive to the needs of those within our fellowship who were experiencing difficult times in their lives. In addition to providing the much-needed prayer support, we wanted to also assist with their temporal needs. To facilitate this process, the Ministry Council of Grace Community Church oversaw the creation of the "Care Bearers" ministry about four ago.

The purpose of "Care Bearers" is to respond the urgent temporary needs of those within our church fellowship. The first line of response will be through our Small Groups. If the need is more extensive than can be met by the small group to which that person belongs or has been assigned for shepherding care - then the Care Bearers will be activated.

Promise Keepers

Men from our congregation, along with their friends, attend the annual Promise Keepers Conference at a mid-Atlantic location.  Promise Keepers is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to introducing men to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord; and then helping them to grow as Christians.  Experience the joy in life as God intended.

Women of Faith

Join women from our congregation in a weekend of sisterhood.  The annual Women of Faith Conference will renew your spirit. Begun in the mid-1990s specifically to encourage women, the Women of Faith conferences have become the largest women's gathering in North America. More than 2 million women of all ages, all denominations, all walks of life have shared an experience like no other.
