GCC has over 30 different ministries to serve in the life of the church – but where to start? Join “Finding My Place” to discover opportunities to plug in and get involved at GCC using your gifts, talents, and passions. Finding My Place is helpful for anyone looking to get involved at GCC for the first time or anyone looking for new opportunities to serve.

Sundays, June 28 – August 30 (No July 5) | 12:30 pM

Starting Point is an 8-week gathering where your questions about God turn into a conversation about FAITH. In a Starting Point group, you can discuss your doubts and explore the trickiest topics of FAITH, free from pressure and judgment.

Thursdays, April 2 – May 28 | 7:00 pm

This class is all about YOU! That’s right; it’s about you and your walk with God. The Bible says that when we draw near to God He will draw near to us. True contentment in life hinges on our relationship to God. When we are walking by the Spirit and filled with the Spirit we can successfully navigate the ups and downs of life with joy and peace. Each session will have three parts: 1) Reflection on various scriptures to see how God operates and how we can interact with Him. 2) Application discussions. 3) Prayer time, allowing us to ask God for His spiritual growth in us. The goal of each session will be a closer, more intimate walk with our God.

Wednesdays, April 15 – May 20 | 7:00 pm

When Jesus spoke, people listened. When Jesus traveled, people followed. When Jesus arrived, hearts and lives were transformed. No other Gospel gives such extensive explanation to Jesus' ministry as the Gospel of John. The first three Gospels describe events, but the fourth Gospel describes the significance behind those events. Through miracles, parables, and relationships, Jesus shows how He is the fulfillment of God's promises of old. He is the Word, the Light, the Lamb—the eternal Son of God. Let the humanity of Christ move you as He feels your joys and pains, and let the deity of Christ awaken you to the life He has planned!

Thursdays, April 16 – May 28 | 7:00 pm

Kidnapping. Brainwashing. Visions. Wars. End times. It all sounds like the makings of a blockbuster movie, but it describes the real life of someone facing difficult situations well beyond his control, living a life he didn't expect to live. The book of Daniel is a story of God empowering an individual to persevere, combined with remarkable apocalyptic revelations enlightening us to our future. Daniel provides enormous application for those of us who may feel like outsiders or outcasts, trying to live well in challenging circumstances. In this deep-dive study, Pete Briscoe unpacks how we can thrive through adversity, know God is working behind the scenes for our good, and find deep assurance through a glimpse into the victory awaiting believers.

Sundays, May 17 – June 14 | 9:15 & 11:00 am

In 2020, GCC is reading through the New Testament. This class will help you dig deeper into week 19-23 of the New Testament Bible Reading Plan. This plan is found at connect@gcc in the lobby and online. Join Dr. Armand Weller as he brings to life the Book of Acts and connects it with everyday life.
