Leading God's People Into Worship
Grace Community Church has a vibrant Music & Arts Ministry that continues to grow. We offer opportunities to those gifted in areas of music, painting, photography, electronic media, tech direction, etc. The first step toward involvement is simply attending worship with us. Beyond that, check out the opportunities and fill out the form below to get involved.
We have teams that lead music in both our traditional and contemporary services. We use piano, instrumental, and vocal leadership in our traditional service. We use electric guitar, drums, choir, horns, piano, and more in our contemporary service. Get involved today!
If your skills lend themselves to audio mixing, lighting or video, then join one of our tech teams! We have teams who run tech in all of our main services, as well as special events throughout the year.
Through the threads of scripture, we see worship as someone having a relationship with God substantiated by obedient living which results in an outpouring of expression. That outpouring is a 24/7/365 sacrifice of the forms of worship which lead back to the function of bringing glory to the Great I Am. The word worship can be confused with momentary experiences like songs, sacraments, and symbols. There’s a need for a revival in our understanding of worship. When we understand our need for an active and sacrificial pouring out of obedience, we can understand Biblical worship.
Outpour Worship is the public ministry of the Music & Arts Ministry at Grace Community Church of Willow Street. They exist to propagate this very idea of an outpouring of sacrifice in obedience to the one true God, and to write songs that help people to better know and follow Jesus. Outpour’s calling is to lead people to an understanding of how to weave worship into every corner of their lives.
Grace Notes is a large jazz ensemble that plays a few times a year and focuses on the instrumental jazz opportunities in music. Horns, percussion, piano, bass, and other jazz instruments are invited to join.
Like catching the right moment on camera? Do it at church! We have a newly formed ministry that is entirely focused on photo and video capturing. We seek to communicate the experience of God’s presence through images. Join today!
