Disabilities Ministry

At Grace Community Church, we believe every person matters to God and belongs in the life of His church

NEARLY 1 IN 5 PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY LIVE WITH A DISABILITY

GCC Disabilities Ministry aims to remove barriers that prevent individuals and families affected by disability from fully participating, growing, and serving at GCC. Whether it’s offering additional support on a Sunday morning or helping with accessibility needs, we want every person to experience the love of Jesus in a meaningful way.

Ways to Connect & Participate

Inclusion Support – One-to-One Buddies

We offer one-on-one Buddies for children and students who benefit from extra support in our Sunday morning programs. Buddies serve during one service, one to two times a month, helping kids participate to the fullest extent possible while parents and caregivers attend worship.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Resources

Our worship center is equipped with a hearing assist system. Headsets are available at the Information Desk.
If you would like an ASL interpreter, please plan to attend our 11:00am service. Contact us ahead of time if you’d like help coordinating.

Ways to Serve

There is always room for more volunteers with a heart to serve! No special training or professional background is required—we’ll provide orientation and training to help you feel prepared.
(Background clearances are required for all who serve with children or students.)

Whether it’s becoming a Buddy or helping with accessibility support on Sundays, your involvement makes a difference in helping everyone feel welcomed and included.
