I had no love for the man who had lost his way. In my anger, I was the resounding gong, the clanging cymbal, the noise that makes no difference. I might as well of been that backfire from a car or the slamming of a door. You hear it, but ignore it.

It looked like it would be a long and lean period of walking by faith. We kept moving forward, praying for God to provide our needs.
My son’s justification for his crayon masterpiece on the bare wall was because of his brother’s own “masterpiece” on the opposite wall.

We were “church people”. If the doors were open, we were there. It didn’t matter if we were gifted or not, we served.

It is no accident that God has chosen to call us sheep. The behavior of sheep and human beings are similar in many ways…. sheep do not ‘just take care of themselves’ as some might suppose. They require more than any other class of livestock endless attention and meticulous care.
It was a tremendous leap of faith and I’m glad I went. With each day at camp, I began to know God better and things began to change in my life.
