Explore the powerful story of Joseph from Genesis in this week's message, focusing on his journey from betrayal to forgiveness and reconciliation. Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers, rose to power in Egypt and faced his brothers years later. Instead of seeking revenge, he tested their transformation through five key tests: conscience, money, reputation, jealousy, and sacrifice. Upon realizing their change, Joseph revealed his identity and forgave them, recognizing God's sovereignty in his life. This narrative teaches us about the power of forgiveness, the importance of letting go of hurt, and the potential for reconciliation. Learn how forgiveness involves canceling the debt, releasing the debtor, and sending away the hurt and hate. Reflect on how much more we can forgive, empowered by God's grace through Christ.
