Jesus Came To Save

The question "Who do you say Jesus is?" lies at the heart of Christian faith. Through examining Jesus's baptism and temptation, we discover His true identity as the Son of God. Though sinless, Jesus was baptized to identify with sinners and fulfill righteousness. At His baptism, heaven was torn open, the Trinity was revealed, and God declared Jesus as His beloved Son. Immediately after, the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness where He faced Satan's temptations for forty days. Jesus defeated each temptation using Scripture, achieving complete victory. This victory means we don't have to fight spiritual battles alone - we can run directly to Jesus, who understands our struggles and has already won the victory for us.

Scripture References: Mark 1:9-13
