Defeating the Devll

Jesus is the most misunderstood person in history, and Mark chapter 3 makes that clear. Three groups got Him wrong: the crowds who saw Him only as a crisis resource, His own family who thought He had lost His mind, and the religious leaders who attributed His miracles to Satan. Jesus responded with sharp logic, showing that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, and that He came not as an agent of evil but as the one who ties up the strong man and sets captives free. The good news is that all sins and blasphemies can be forgiven when we confess and turn to Him. The only unforgivable sin is the persistent, willful rejection of the Holy Spirit's work, a condition that a genuinely concerned heart has not committed. If you are carrying unconfessed sin, Jesus is not waiting to condemn you. He is waiting with open arms.

From Series: "Who Do You Say Jesus Is? "

Mark's Gospel begins with a clear declaration: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. This isn't just a name but reveals Jesus' unique identity as both fully human and fully God, the promised Messiah who came to save humanity from sin. Understanding who Jesus truly is affects every aspect of life and demands a personal response from each individual.
