Preparing For The Exodus

Exodus 1 reveals God's unwavering faithfulness and supreme power through the story of Israel's growth in Egypt. Despite Pharaoh's oppression and attempts to suppress God's people, the Israelites continued to multiply and prosper. Through the courage of two Hebrew midwives and the preservation of His people, God demonstrated His sovereign control and deep care for Israel. Exodus 1 shows how God's purposes prevail even in the face of fierce opposition, while revealing His character through His consistent faithfulness to His promises.

From Series: "Exodus"

“Exodus is an epic tale of fire, sand, wind, and water,” writes Philip Graham Ryken. And in every one of these epic scenes, and throughout the entire book of Exodus, the main character – the star of this drama – is GOD and GOD ALONE. In fact, the dominant theme of this book’s 40 chapters is KNOWING GOD. God wants us to have a deeper knowledge of Him. So, in word and action, both boldly and quietly, God reveals truth about Himself in the book of Exodus, and the truth God reveals, if we receive it and believe it, has the power to transform our lives. Join your GCC family in this series of sermons designed to teach us the powerful truths of God from the second book of the Bible – EXODUS
