Submission is made possible through the Holy Spirit and motivated by reverence for Christ. In practice, submissive church members put others first - giving up seats when needed, asking for others' thoughts before sharing their own, serving without seeking recognition, and listening attentively to all. This Christ-like attitude creates an environment where the church can grow in unity and purpose.
