OUR LATEST MESSAGE

The first section of the Gospel of Mark opens with a man crying out in the wilderness and closes with a fisherman finally saying, out loud, what the whole section has been building toward: you are the Messiah. In between, Mark gives us miracle after miracle, confrontation after confrontation, parable after parable.
All of it is asking the same question. Who is this man? The crowds are amazed. The religious leaders are threatened. The disciples are confused. And Jesus keeps doing things that only God can do.

Josh Marcroft

Quarryville Campus Pastor

Josh Marcroft serves as the Quarryville Campus Pastor at GCC. He has a passion for getting people connected to the local church as well as teaching the Word of God. He completed his undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies and earned his MDiv through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, spending time with his wife Emma, and playing games with friends.

Quarryville campus worship leader

Brett Serves as our Quarryville Campus Worship Leader. He loves worshiping the Lord through music and helping create an environment where people can worship freely. He enjoys seeing our teams grow together in their faith and musical abilities, and using those abilities to further the Kingdom of Heaven. Brett is an avid disc golfer and loves enjoying time with his wife Lauren and their dog Beorn. 

Aisha Hastings

Quarryville Childrens Ministry Coordinator

Aisha serves as our Quarryville Children’s Ministry Coordinator. She appreciates that her role involves getting to know GCC families, volunteers, and staff more personally. She specifically enjoys helping young children hear and understand Scripture. Aisha shares that as a Type 1 diabetic, she is passionate about encouraging others, especially children, on their own journey with the same condition. Some of her favorite activities include cooking, baking, going on long walks, and reading. Aisha worships at our GCC Quarryville Campus.

What Happens in a gccQ Service?

Our service features contemporary music led by a band and worship team. This service lasts approximately 75 minutes.

The song choices range from classic hymns to the newest music. In all of our services, there are times of prayer and reflection as well as the reading and study of God’s Word. Pastor Josh Marcroft and our teaching pastors preach from the Bible or a topic from the Bible, teaching God’s truth verse-by-verse.

Weekends at GCCQ are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. You’ll see sport coats and dresses as well as jeans and khakis. More importantly, you’ll find a family where those differences don’t matter. What ABout My Kids? 

We offer Children’s Ministry for kids from infants to grade 5. Our Children’s Ministry is a safe and fun environment for little ones to learn more about Jesus through learning Scripture, singing, games, and more! Our Children’s Ministry runs the entire service.
