Do you need a reminder that God sees you? Feel like the ship is going down? Is He aware of the storms and chaos? Newsflash: He wants to ride the waves with us even though He knows our condition. God doesn’t make mistakes with who He chooses to ride with.
“SHE IS QUITE INQUISITIVE”
While writing in my journal a few years ago, God told me he made me inquisitive. After looking up the definition, I realized that that word couldn’t be more accurate for me. As an adult I read through pages and pages of medical records regarding my birth and early life. There are many holes in my complex medical history. One sentence stood out to me from a growth and development clinic doctor: “She is quite inquisitive.” That little sentence warmed my heart. This doctor knew me, despite the chaos and storms regarding my medical diagnosis. She saw me as more than a patient.
THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE MADE ME
Satan constantly tries to ruin my day with discouragement. That one little sentence from a pediatrician is my reminder from God that He sees me. He knows me. The God of the Universe made me. Even all those years ago, the clinic doctor made a correct observation about how God has wired me. What God creates is good.
WONDERFULLY MADE
The Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. In fact, the verse reads: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:14)
When the storms rage and you can’t find your footing, remember that God didn’t make a mistake in your design. The creator of the universe designed your personality.
Does your life seem fractured beyond repair? What you thought you knew, is it now turned upside down? Feel like losing your footing? I know the deep desire for hope and to feel balanced.
