Our God is a Life Changer

Through the story of Jethro and Moses in Exodus 18, we witness the transformative power of God in action. Jethro, a pagan priest and Moses' father-in-law, experienced a dramatic conversion after hearing about God's miraculous deliverance of Israel. His transformation from a polytheistic priest to a believer in the one true God demonstrates how sharing our faith can impact lives. Meanwhile, Moses' own story shows God's continuous work in believers' lives, as he grew from stubbornness to teachability and overcame his limitations.

From Series: "Exodus"

“Exodus is an epic tale of fire, sand, wind, and water,” writes Philip Graham Ryken. And in every one of these epic scenes, and throughout the entire book of Exodus, the main character – the star of this drama – is GOD and GOD ALONE. In fact, the dominant theme of this book’s 40 chapters is KNOWING GOD. God wants us to have a deeper knowledge of Him. So, in word and action, both boldly and quietly, God reveals truth about Himself in the book of Exodus, and the truth God reveals, if we receive it and believe it, has the power to transform our lives.
